Back to School Engagement Bundle | Whole-Class Activities

Start the school year with confidence, clarity, and high engagement — without spending hours preparing activities. The Back-to-School Engagement Bundle is a collection of low-prep, project-and-go, whole-class activities designed to build classroom culture, establish routines, and get students thinking, moving, and collaborating from day one.

This bundle is perfect for teachers who want purposeful engagement that goes beyond awkward icebreakers and sets clear expectations for learning early in the year. Each resource in this bundle includes fully editable templates, allowing you to unlock and reuse the activities across different subjects, year levels, and topics — not just at the start of the year.

1. Back to School Vocabulary Fly Swat: A movement-based vocabulary activity that activates thinking, builds participation, and establishes clear engagement routines.

2. Getting to Know You Connect Four: A low-pressure, inclusive discussion activity that builds connection and collaboration without putting students on the spot.

3. Classroom Escape Room: A high-engagement transformation lesson focused on problem-solving, communication, and working together — ideal for setting expectations, building teacher and peer relationships, and classroom norms.

4. Investigate the Teacher: A purposeful inferencing activity that replaces the awkward “this is me” slide, allowing students to build a teacher profile using evidence from staged clues.

5. SMART Hexagoals: A structured goal-setting activity that gives students clarity and direction, helping them set realistic academic and personal targets from Week 1.
